Tian Tian is the female of a pair of Giant Panda’s on loan from China to Edinburgh Zoo. The Pandas which are on a 10 year loan have been at the Zoo since December 2011, it’s hoped during their stay in Scotland the team at the Zoo will be able to get the pair to breed.
The name Tian Tian translates as ‘Sweetie’ in Chinese.
